| What is an upgrade? | An 'upgrade' is a lower priced option for previous SongPro version users to purchase version 4. |
| When upgrading can I keep the songs I have in my current version including my own added songs, and include them in version 4? | Yes, you can open your version 3 database in SongPro, this will then be converted to version 4 format, then you can add your version 4 songs to this database. |
| Do I have to pay the full price to purchase version 4? | No, as you have a previous version, you qualify to purchase version 4 for the upgrade price, as long as you retain your version 3 CD-rom. |
| Will version 4 run on Windows 7? | Yes. Please check the system requirements. |
| Version 3 won't install on Windows 7 or Vista so how will the upgrade work? | You don't need version 3 installed on your system for the upgrade to work. The upgrade after installed will prompt you to insert your version 3 CD briefly (without installing) to verify you qualify for the upgrade. |
| Can I transfer my database from my XP or Vista preparation PC to my Windows 7 display PC? | Yes you can transfer your databases or service plans etc from XP or Vista to Windows 7 or vice versa with no compatibility problems. |
| Is it available to download? | Only the evaluation version, the full licensed version however is only available on CD-rom. |
| Do I need to specify whether I need an XP, Vista or Windows 7 SongPro? | No, SongPro version 4 is compatible with XP, Vista and Windows 7. |
